The Wilton Student Financial Aid Committee was founded in 1959 as a non-profit group with the purpose of providing assistance to Wilton High School graduates who may not be able to further their education because of financial need.

Now, more than 50 years later, the Committee continues to strive to fulfill the same mission; however in 1993, the guidelines of the Committee were changed to include the eligibility of children of Wilton residents who graduate from other high schools.

In 1959 we began with total aid of $500 that was distributed to 2 students — now we provide an average of over $150,000 each year to students.
